MARVIN DESROC

Born in Fort-de-France Martinique and raised in Paris, Marvin Desroc uses his journey and his upbringing as a starting point for his designs. His clothes express the different facets of his personality, while also reflecting on gender, identity, and comfort.

With the intention of making the wearer feel empowered and beautiful, Marvin Desroc’s clothing includes opacious bows, lacy boots, or even fishnet tops. He introduced lingerie into his collection because it is rarely seen in the male world and wanted to make it as comfortable as a t-shirt.

For his Central Saint Martins Menswear MA collection, Marvin Desroc focuses on the idea of limbo and the feeling of being caught in between two things. With this collection, the designer wants to convey the notion of being comfortable with not being confined to a specific category, which resonates with the complexities of masculinity.

Thanks to his empathic, honest, and nostalgic essence, Marvin Desroc provides a fresh take on masculinity with a defined sense of individuality, while exploring the tensions between masculinity and femininity.
